As we head into 2018, I celebrate 20 years in photography. I started photographing weddings when I was 18yrs old, on medium format cameras, back in the film days. If you don’t know what a medium format camera is, it’s a big heavy 120 film camera. I haven’t seen one in years.
I studied Creative Photography at Humber College in my early 20’s. From there, I now travel taking courses around North America and online. I’ve studied lighting and posing techniques in California, Florida, BC, and Las Vegas.
I’ve photographed destination weddings in Jamaica, Mexico, Cuba, and Dominican Republic.
Going into 2018 I continue learning as our industry is forever evolving. I love portrait photography and have an obsession with backdrops. My studio stocks over 70 options of backdrops. At the same time, I love location photography. Photographing families in a beautiful wooded area is how I spend my fall weekends.
